Storage tank design / 3D laser scanning

Challenge

The customer needed a new storage tank. In addition, there was a need to design a replacement solution for a pipe bridge that was spur-mounted on top of the tank to be replaced.

Solution

We did 3D laser scanning to the site extensively and a point cloud was formed from the scanned material. The point cloud was used to help design the new tank and the necessary temporary structures for the existing pipes on site.
