Challenge:
The customer needed to find out the main and connection dimensions from a plant’s laser-scanned point cloud file for the positioning of their own product.
Solution:
After the preliminary processing of the heavy point cloud model, a simple 3D model based on the point cloud was modelled in the STP format, providing the customer with the necessary main and connection dimensions.
