Replacement of tank truck loading arms

Challenge

There was a need to replace old loading arms with modern ones in the customer’s terminal. The new loading arms were intended to improve their usability and ergonomics, but also to streamline the loading and unloading processes. In addition, the new loading arms improve the safe handling of fuels.

Solution

We carried out 3D laser scanning, based on which the new loading arms were designed to fit the current pipeline. The design of the loading arms took into account the customer’s special requirements for accessories, such as limit switches and traffic lights, which could be used to further improve the safety of the site.
