Next-generation car washer

Challenge:

Product development of a new car wash based on an old device together with the customer was an inspiring and innovative process! The development of the device’s design and structure in several areas were key. The goals of the development work were manufacturability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, appearance and utilization of alternative technologies. The biggest challenge was fitting all the changes into the broad product family.

Solution:

The industrial designer created wonderful concepts that serve as the visual basis of the design. A thorough cost analysis was performed on the old device, in which critical development areas were determined.

The end result was a new device developed in cooperation with the customer, which the customer was able to manufacture in their own premises.
